The Plan

Simplyweight has been running a weight management clinic at Harley Street, London and in locations across Yorkshire for the past few years. Our team’s professional experience provides us with decades of hands-on clinical experience helping people lose and maintain weight, in addition to treating complex weight-related medical conditions such as Type 2 Diabetes.

Simplyweight’s Online Plan aims to translate years of wisdom into an accessible solution to help you understand your own body and mind, erase old die-hard habits and reprogramme your behaviour and hunger patterns. Our plan teaches you the skills and resources needed to improve your emotional and physical well-being, lose weight and keep it off.

Our goal is to see you achieve lasting success in weight loss, but more crucially, we focus on improving emotional well-being and overall wellness as a priority. You can start seeing changes to your mindset, behaviours and quality of life in as little as 1-2 weeks if you engage regularly with our content and apply them to your lives. Noticeable weight loss can be seen anywhere between 2-4 weeks, with significant weight loss often achieved within the first 3 months.


We allow the option of joining as a monthly or a yearly member, although we encourage people to sign-up for a year to start with. Weight loss can be relatively quick, but weight maintenance is much more tricky and it’s important to allow enough time for all the new patterns and behaviours to become ingrained.

The amount and rate of weight loss is dependent on the level of engagement from each individual, but also affected by personal circumstances, genetics, any prior medical conditions etc. We try to provide content that helps individuals manage their weight loss at a rate that is sustainable and healthy for them. On average, a healthy weight loss can be up to 1-2 lbs (0.5-1kg) per week, but it is not unusual to see rapid weight loss at the start of a new plan.

Actually, we don’t suggest counting calories as part of our plan! We focus on portion control with our simportion guide helping you understand what a proper portion should look like for various food groups. We also emphasise the importance of hunger management and one of our key goals is to help people understand their hunger, identify real hunger from psychological hunger, and to reprogramme their hunger patterns.

This is absolutely fine, as we offer sample meal plans for those who wish to have more structure in their diet and find it easier to have a plan written down. We will be working on releasing new, interesting meal plans over time to cater for varying tastes.

You can improve your fitness through various physical activities. There is no need to join a gym if you do not want to. Our belief is that exercise should be something you enjoy so that you willingly do it regularly. This could be anything from walking your dog around the neighbourhood, cleaning your home thoroughly, going for a swim or running a marathon. 

Our plan offers a range of workouts in our simaktiv and lessons sections, which can be done in the comfort of your own home and at the pace that feels right for you.

Our plan is designed to support people over 18 to lose and maintain weight, whilst addressing any weight-related medical conditions. However, our educational content is not to be taken as a prescriptive 1-2-1 medical advice, which we cannot offer without seeing you personally for a consultation.

If you have any pre-existing conditions, we always recommend consulting your doctor before undertaking any new weight loss plan. Please note that we are unable to support people with serious, untreated medical or mental health conditions e.g. terminal illness, unmanaged eating disorders or psychiatric disorders.

For more intensive support, we recommend you book a private consultation or join our premium plan, which will offer you a dedicated specialist coach who will help monitor your progress and guide you throughout your plan.

 

Pricing

You can join a monthly plan for £12.99/month or a yearly plan for £130/year. You can save 17% on a yearly plan and we recommend joining this one so that you get sufficient support to maintain your weight loss in the long-run.

 

Click the “Start your journey today” button and select either the monthly or yearly plan, then fill out your details before checkout. We currently use secure Stripe checkout to process card payments.

 

Yes, we have a no-obligation, 7-day free trial where you can get a flavour for our app features. We don’t take any card details when you join a free trial.

 

No. Everything for the online plan is included in the membership fee.

 

Membership

Your membership will be renewed and charged automatically on a monthly or yearly basis, depending on which plan you choose to join. You can switch plans or cancel at any time. 

The idea is that you stay on the membership for as long as you need to feel fully comfortable with the skills and knowledge you’ve acquired. 

Yes. You can switch between monthly and yearly memberships at any point during your plan. However, the change will only take place at the end of the current billing cycle. You might have to wait a while if you decide to switch from yearly to monthly!

 

You can cancel your membership from your billing section within settings. Your plan will continue to be active until your expiry date.

 

You can simply undo your cancellation from your billing section within settings. Your plan will then renew as normal at the end of your current billing cycle.

 

No, there is no option to pause memberships unfortunately. However, if you need to take a break, you can easily cancel for a few months and rejoin using the same email. This way all your information will be ready for you to resume your plan.

 

If your card expires and your billing date has passed, the next time you login you’ll be prompted to enter valid card details in order to continue your membership. You can update your card details through the app at any time, to prevent expiry and accidentally getting locked out of your account.

 

At the moment, we only accept payments through Stripe which is a widely known and secure online checkout system.
